The house replaces an existing house on a small farmstead a few hundred yard from Tyrifjorden lake. The dimensions of both the existing buildings and the yard are very small so it has been of prime importance to create a new house that adapts to these small dimensions.
The budget is very limited, therefore the house is based on a high degree of prefabrication. It also features some inventive technical solutions to save costs. Main materials are massive wood, clad with corrugated fiber cement boards.
