A wooden house from the seventies with a dreary garden is transformed and extended. The main
materials are walls of spruce stained matt black (both inside and outside), roof of fibre cement boards and oak floors.

The house is next neighbour to the private house of Magnus Poulsson, one of Norways most succesful architect of the first part of the 20th century. Dure respect to the landscape has therefore been very important. The house forms a donut with a floor climbing up and down to adapt to the terrain.
