A wooden house from the seventies with a dreary garden is transformed and extended. The main
materials are walls of spruce stained matt black (both inside and outside), roof of fibre cement boards and oak floors.

Gjendeosen is the most important gateway to the Jotunheimen national park.
The project is composed of several elements:
At Gjendeosen a new ferry pier with a storage building is under construction, while later on there will be a new service building with café, a large landscape restoration and a pedestrian path from the ferry pier to a new footbridge across the river Sjoa.
At Reinsvangen the parking will be enlarged and a new service building will be erected.
