A wooden house from the seventies with a dreary garden is transformed and extended. The main
materials are walls of spruce stained matt black (both inside and outside), roof of fibre cement boards and oak floors.

A new cabin tries to complete and reenact a situation containing several small huts by the Steinsfjorden lake. The new volume offers something the existing buildings cannot: a view, a more direct connection between inside and outside, and a stair to enter the complex. Together the new and old creates a clear outdoor space between them.
